How to check if a page is indexed by Google
A page can only appear in Google results after Google has found it, crawled it and decided to store it. Here is how to check each step.
1. URL Inspection in Search Console
Paste the full address into the bar at the top of Search Console. It tells you whether the page is on Google and, if not, gives a reason.
2. The site: search
Search for site:example.com/page-address. If a result appears, the page is indexed. This is a rough check, not an exact one.
3. The Page indexing report
This report lists which pages are indexed and why others are not. Focus on the pages you actually want people to find.
If the page is not indexed
Make sure it returns a normal 200 status, has no noindex tag, is not blocked in robots.txt, is linked from other pages on your site and is listed in your sitemap. Then request indexing and wait a few days.
